TuiTui Artspace is an independent art space and artist-led initiative, nestled in the corner of a refurbished 1860s laundry building on the outskirts of Grey Lynn.

​In the pre-Covid era, the artspace was a vibrant hub of activity, where a community of creative professionals, emerging artists, and international students mingle freely, would converge to engage in esoteric discussions about the human condition and self-emotions. Long nights of therapeutic experiences and introspection were the norm, as participants explored the depths of their sensibilities and challenged their assumptions about the world.

We felt we're empowered by this creative purpose to search something alternative to enable this spirit and our artists in different stages to contribute their underexpressed individual contexts to a current dynamic local and global discourse.
